This program has been approved for Continuing Education Credit Hours by the National Association of Social Workers, CT and meets the continuing education criteria for CT Social Work Licensure renewal – (2 credits) When a patient begins to lose the ability to make sound financial decisions and give informed consent, or can no longer communicate their wishes, learn how to prevent a crisis that occurs when many legal issues arise that must be addressed and how to prepare for the solutions to address those issues.
This workshop will not only educate you on the issues, but also explain and guide patients and their families to the resources available and navigate the sensitive issues of medical, financial and personal issues.
